We were supposed to have snow.  I mean, it’s a winter wedding, right?  Shooting at Eagle Ridge Golf Club in Georgetown, we had greener grass than most other times of the year.  Well, at least it was cold!  Thankfully, the sun broke through the clouds during our post-ceremony portraits.   That’s when I captured  this (and I despise using an over-used term) truly epic couple portrait.

The day was just wonderful, even with the lack of snow.  Kathleen’s dress was dazzling, and she was gorgeous.  I enjoy capturing elegant images that candidly hi-lite the details of the wedding dress.

Sometimes my favourite images come from my clients’ ideas… like this one below.  I particularly enjoy this semi-solarized silver wash effect.  It enhances the glamourous feel of the image.

This moment presented itself as we were making our way to the ceremony.  You just can’t plan a shot this adorable…

With the right exposure, and some creative post production – I can craft my images to portray the right mood.  The following image is a great example of how I take the time to creatively manipulate my photos to their full potential.  The art of digital photo finishing is just as important to my work as the initial capture.

Finally, my favourite bouquet toss photo ever.  Just look at that lean by the bridesmaid!  Unbelievably, she did not end up with the flowers.  Looks like she jumped the gun a bit.

It was extremely hard pick my top ten images of this wedding…  so I picked fifteen!  Congratulations Kathleen and Mike, it was a complete joy to take your photos.
